revery

your days | your people | your stories

A private journal you keep together.

Capture your days, invite the people who were there, and build a shared record that only the two of you — or the five of you — can ever read.

What revery does

Your days, in your words

Write an entry and attach the photos from that day. A journal that takes a minute before bed, not a whole evening.

The people who were there

Invite someone into a shared space with a link. You write into the same record — a trip, a year, a relationship — instead of keeping two separate diaries that never meet.

Encrypted end to end

Entries and photos are encrypted on your device before they are uploaded. We store them, but we hold no keys and cannot read them — and neither can anyone you haven't invited.

Memories that come back

revery resurfaces what you wrote a year ago, or five, on this day. The point of keeping a record is being handed it again later.

Why revery asks for your Google account

revery uses Sign in with Google so you don't have to create and remember another password. When you choose to sign in, Google shares a limited profile with us, and each piece has one job:

  • Your name and profile picture — so the people in a shared space can see who wrote which entry.
  • Your email address — to identify your account, restore it when you sign in on a new device, and let someone send you an invitation to a shared space.
  • Your Google account identifier — the stable ID that ties your devices to one account.

That is the whole request. revery does not ask for access to Gmail, Drive, Contacts, Google Photos, or any other Google service, and we never see your Google password. We do not use this information for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not use it to train models. Our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. The full detail is in our Privacy Policy.
